Deborah brings considerable leadership skills, management experience and business accumen to her position as NSC's President. Most recently she was Vice President and Chief Program Officer at the Missouri Foundation for Health where she led the Foundation's internal and external program activities, including grantmaking and special projects.
Prior to MFH, Deborah was President and CEO of Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers providing leadership to a staff of 95 health professionals and supporting personnel. Deborah holds an undergraduate degree in bacteriology from Iowa State University and a Masters in Business from Webster University.

Larry comes to NSC with more than ten years of financial experience working in the retail and healthcare industries including extensive cash management, treasury analysis, financial reporting, and general accounting as well as interaction with IT in the development of financial reports.
Prior to joining NSC, Larry was with Sisters of Mercy Health System for seven years, most recently as their Senior Treasury Analyst. He also served as staff accountant for St. Louis Children's Hospital and as a cash management analyst for May Department Stores. Since 2003, Larry has been an active member of the Association for Financial Professionals earning the certified treasury professional (CTP) designation. Larry has a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an M.A. in Finance from Webster University.

Carmen has been with NSC since 2003 where she manages all of NSC's written materials, website content and email communication as well as all of NSC's brand image and communications priorities. Carmen also plays an integral role in program development and execution, most recently evidenced through the Midwest Leadership Institute program and BoardLinkStL.
Prior to joining NSC, Carmen was a successful entrepreneur in event coordination and management, Hispanic marketing and tourism. She has worked with and consulted for a variety of Hispanic organizations, arts and cultural nonprofits throughout the state of Missouri, including the creation and coordination of Hispanic Day at the Ballpark with both the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals. The event brought national attention to the Hispanic communities in those cities, as well as the contribution of Latino ballplayers to the game. Carmen can even boast of being interviewed by Jack Buck in both Spanish and English.
Carmen is very active in her church contemporary choir and serves as the PTO president of her daughter's school.

For 20 years, Claire has served as trustee for the Vatterott Foundation which started in 1948, supports early educational and human service organizations serving low income and minority individuals and families. She started the Vatterott Foundation Youth Board, which is in its fifth annual grant cycle. Native to St. Louis, Claire received an undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and her MSW from Washington University with an emphasis in non-profit management.
In addition to serving as trustee on the Vatterott Foundation, Claire is currently an adjunct professor at Washington University's George Warren Brown School of Social Work. Prior to NSC, Claire was Program Manager for Sister of Mercy Ministries, a charitable foundation and subsidiary of the Sisters of Mercy Health System. There, she managed over $1 million in annual grant support for advocacy efforts and community-based ministries serving low-income individuals in Louisiana, Mississippi and Belize, Central America.
She is certified as a fund raising executive having worked in development for Lutheran Family & Children's Services Foundation as Manager of Leadership Gifts and the American Red Cross St. Louis Bi-State Chapter where she initiated their Major Gifts Program.

Teri graduated from Arizona State University in the College of Human Services in May of 2008. On top of getting her degree, Teri also completed an internship in PR, marketing and event planning which led into a full time position. Teri helps with message development, media kit preparation, news release development and distribution, media pitching, ideas for special events and coordinated promotional event programs.

With over 24 years of nonprofit experience, Linda currently serves as the President of Community Solutions Consulting, Inc., established in 2008. CSC provides strategic counsel and related grantmaking services to charitable giving entities to support their philanthropic activities.
Prior to establishing CSC, Linda served as Director of Community Investment of the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation from June 2002 to December 2007. As Director of Community Investment, Linda had overall responsibility for the management and oversight of the Foundation’s grantmaking functions.
Linda received her master’s degree in urban affairs and policy analysis from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. She has also completed the Women in Leadership training program offered through the Coro Midwestern Center as well as the United Way of America Minority Leadership Development Program.
Linda is a founding board member and secretary for Women in Fatherhood, Inc., a national organization of women from various professional backgrounds dedicated to advocating for family and community well-being through the support of positive father involvement and healthy family relationships.

Pamela R. Tucker Coaxum comes to Nonprofit Services with over 25 years of experience working for foundations and nonprofit organizations. She most recently was a small business owner of Strategic Resource Alliance, LLC where she provided consulting services to nonprofit organizations and foundations, such as the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation, Missouri Foundation for Health, Minnesota African American Museum & Cultural Center and Saint Joachim and Ann Care Service. For nearly 10 years she was the Local Office Director for Enterprise Community Partners (formerly Enterprise Foundation) that provided over $100.0 million in grants, loans and equity investments to housing and community development agencies throughout the St. Louis region. Before coming to St. Louis, she previously work for Richmond Renaissance in Richmond, VA and Dayton Hudson Foundation (former parent company to Target Stores) in Minneapolis Minnesota. She has directed nonprofit organizations in Minneapolis and East St. Louis, Illinois where she served was the former executive director for the Greater East St. Louis Community Fund, a foundation under the auspices of the United States Director Court of Southern Illinois. She currently now serves as President of the Board of Directors.

Amy Cole Buehler holds a MA degree in International Relations from Webster University and a BA degree with a major in Political Science and minors in History and Spanish from the University of Missouri - Columbia. She began her career in government as a publicist for the 1988 Presidential Election Campaign in Washington, DC and then for the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Hunger. Upon leaving Washington, DC, Ms. Buehler entered the field of non-profit management, development and public relations.
She has extensive training in grantsmanship for public and private sectors, strategic planning, development audits and planning, board development, event planning, planned giving and special project management including capital, annual and major giving campaigns. Over the past 20 years, Amy has helped raise millions of dollars for many St. Louis area organizations on both professional and volunteer levels. She has served as the Executive Director for both the Animal Protective Association of Missouri and Therapeutic Horsemanship. In 2008 Buehler founded Development on Demand! a consulting firm dedicated to working alongside non-profit organizations in the St. Louis Metropolitan area to further their strategic goals through planning, training, board development, fundraising and coaching.
In 2008, Amy was added to the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis as an instructor in the Nonprofit Management Master’s Program where she designs curriculum and teaches courses throughout the year including Grantwriting, Topics in Nonprofit Management – Emerging Research, Management in Nonprofit Organizations and the Capstone (project/thesis) course.
