Grant-makers want to fund programs that work. In this two-part course Charles Gasper will demonstrate how to design effective programs and measure their outcomes. Concepts covered will include theory-based programming, program design, theory-based logic modeling, and evaluation. Class focus will include strategic thinking and using theory-based evaluation methods to develop and improve programs. While not required, participants should have a program that they wish to design and/or evaluate.  The course is “hands-on” and participants will be asked to complete homework between the two sessions. At the completion of the course, participants should have a developed evaluation design for their program.

Instructor: Charles Gasper, Missouri Foundation for Health
