Consultant Connection

In our ongoing commitment of developing and delivering useful and relevant services to strengthen the nonprofit sector in our region, NSC is proud to offer the Consultant Connection™; an online, searchable database tool enabling nonprofits to find consultants according to area of expertise, last name or company name.

For Nonprofit Organizations

The Consultant Connection, coupled with how-to resources and a toolkit, found on the NSC website, will allow nonprofits an opportunity to better select, manage and contract a consultant when outside advice is needed.  Other resources on how to choose a consultant are also available. This service is being offered at no cost to the consultant or to the nonprofit through generous funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health.

For Consultants

The online tool will allow consultants to enter and periodically update their profile; including background information, specific expertise, types of issues, populations and/or organizations with which they have worked and other pertinent information required for nonprofits to make an initial selection.   It will then allow nonprofits to search by specific criteria as they begin the process of selecting a consultant.

For the Nonprofit Sector

While NSC will not endorse any consultant listed in the directory, we will assist nonprofits in the complex process of selecting a consultant. Tools, information and resources will be made available online through the NSC website as we continue to build the capacity of the nonprofit sector - in this case by determining the process of when and how to select, manage and contract a consultant.
