Executive coaching encourage leaders to achieve greater results for themselves and their organizations.  NSC understands that the fundamental advantage of executive coaching is in its impact on new learning.  New learning often results in improved performance of the leader and increased effectiveness of their organization.

Today the responsibilities of nonprofit leaders have expanded beyond programs and mission knowledge.  The modern nonprofit leader must cultivate relationships, influence their workforce, encourage volunteers, navigate competition for resources, and master the art of internal and external communication.   NSC executive coaching therefore focuses on higher order developmental skills which underpin our executive coaching assistance.

Rounded Rectangle: NSC Coaching Procedure: •	Coach assignment - 6 months or 12 months •	Clarification of expectations and desired results •	Prioritization of development needs, and goals •	Coaching Venue Decision: face-to-face or telephone •	Signed Coaching Agreement: Fees, Frequency, Venue, Goals
NSC coaches share more than fifty years of working in the nonprofit environment as leaders, program developers and organizational resource people.    NSC only assigns experienced coaches, who are capable of offering new perspectives, broader views, as well as, introducing new tools.  We believe the coaching experience should provide constructive feedback on behavior and introduce problem solving methods that spark increased motivation to learn as well as enhance the leadership experience.

At the core of the NSC coaching practice is the personal and confidential relationship between the participant and the coach.  Coaching must also be grounded in an identified need.  Each participant must engage in the coaching relationship and commit to the change process.   NSC knows from experience that coaching cannot be mandated or forced upon anyone.
