Leadership Programs

The cultivation and development of strong leaders is key to a successful nonprofit. NSC promotes strong leadership as a means of strengthening organizations and offers several opportunities for leadership development among nonprofit staff and boards. Program evaluations by the TCC Group has shown NSC to "move the needle" among the leadership of nonprofits participating in NSC programs.

  • For Board Presidents and Board Members Only.

    The Nonprofit Board Presidents Council offers a common space where board leaders can meet their peers, discuss best practices and help deal with shared problems.  Meets quarterly.

ED Roundtables

  • Peer circles are comprised of Executive Directors; conducted in Illinois and Missouri.  Meet monthly.

  •  NSC Peer Circles bridge the gap between learning and information sharing. Fund Development Peer Circle is being offered at this time. 
    • Fund Development Peer Circle: comprised of nonprofit development directors and all staff responsible for fundraising

Women's Leadership Academy

  • NSC is accepting applicantions for the Leadership Academy Class of 2011/2012.  Download a copy of the application [Word  |  PDF].  More information

  • A new opportunity for executive leadership of nonprofit organizations to build upon current decision making structures.
