Is Your Logic Model Logical? Getting more from your evaluation efforts.
Taking evaluation to the “next step” involves: 1) aligning your evaluation system with your organization’s mission and targeted outcomes as part of a dynamic and ongoing process; and 2) finding new ways to understand evaluation results that can help strengthen your ability to improve outcomes and sustain program funding.
 
Participants will review how the logic model process can be used to develop an evaluation system with meaningful outcomes, indicators, data collection strategies, analysis strategies, and performance management practices that are organically integrated into your organization’s mission and culture. Explore innovative ways to gather outcome evaluation data beyond the traditional pre/post survey model. Come learn more about strategies for understanding evaluation results that first appear to be negative or “flat.” Learn more about reporting evaluation results to funders, and how to use the data to strengthen programs and improving outcomes for those you serve.
 
Presented by:
 
President and Founder of LS Associates, a research and consulting firm that provides evaluation, strategic planning, and grant development services to non-profit organizations. Leslie has a Master’s in Social Work and PhD in Social Science Research from Washington University, and has been conducting outcome-based evaluations and training for more than 17 years. Her work has been funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Department of State, the US Department of Education, the Ford Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and many others. Her current clients include the YWCA of Metro St. Louis, Education Through Music, the Nurses for Newborns Foundation, 21st Century Community Learning Center programs, the University City Children’s Center, and the Trio Foundation.
 
 
Registration:
The cost for the workshop is $45 per person and priority is given to health-related organizations. Registrations by non-health organizations will be placed on a waiting list as space is often availableSpace is limited to 20 individuals and we encourage two representatives from an organization attend.
 
Cancellations:

Full refunds are available up to 5 days prior to event.  Events may be rescheduled or consolidated due to low registration.
