Class Description

Learn about the evolution of donor research - from footwork to internet and cost considerations in this hands on workshop.  Fund development professionals and all other staff responsible for fund development in an organization will also learn:

  • How to research sites to create full-length or "quick and dirty" research profiles
  • Interpreting data - turn information into positive action
  • Managing data - internally and externally
  • The ethics of donor research

Wendy Dyer
Wendy has been a fundraiser and a fundraising consultant for more than 20 years.  She does extensive training and coaching and strongly believes in skills-transfer to ensure that the next generation of fundraisers can enrich their organizations and the community for many years to come.  Wendy is hands-on consultant and provides practical solutions for goals that are 'doable with a stretch.' 

She is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where she started her fundraising career in donor research, major gifts and corporate/foundation relations.  
 
Registration:
Registration for each workshop is $45 per person and is open to health-related organizations.  Space is limited to 20 individuals; we encourage two individuals from any one organization register to attend.

NSC requires at least five business days prior to an event for cancellations due to the preparation and planning involved for each individual event.
