A newly launched online service provides links to over 200 reports that contain information on whether doctors and hospitals deliver good or bad care.

Class Description
The role of prospect research is to identify and provide relevant information about potential donors to an organization. However, accomplishing this task is many times a stumbling block. Learn the tools and techniques that are essential to bringing prospect research successfully into your organization. Learn where to go to find publicly available information to support your fund development program, how to prepare effective donor profiles, the ethics of prospecting, and how research applies to all levels of the giving cycle.
Instructor Bio: Kay Tabscott
Kay C. Tabscott is currently Development and Community Relations Manager at Kingdom House, a social service non-profit in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also President of Independent Development Research and Prospect Research Training (IDR), which she founded in 2002. IDR provides a variety of local and national non-profits with corporate, foundation, and major donor individual research profiles. In 2006, Kay developed and has taught “Introduction to Prospect Research” at Washington University’s Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management program.
Registration:
The cost for the workshop is $45 per person and priority is given to health-related organizations. Registrations by non-health organizations will be placed on a waiting list as space is often available. Space is limited to 20 individuals and we encourage two representatives from an organization attend.
Cancellations:
Full refunds are available up to 5 days prior to event. Events may be rescheduled or consolidated due to low registration.
