Deborah L. Cooper, president of NSC, announces resignation

The board of directors of the Nonprofit Services Center (NSC) announced that its president, Deborah L. Cooper, has resigned and will be stepping down, effective April 30, 2012. A national search is underway to find her successor.  Read the press release.

MFH and NSC held an
informational webinar presentation focusing on evidence based practices (EBPs) related to obesity prevention and tobacco cessation in urban and rural environments. Many federal funders look to see EBPs in grant applications and base funding decisions on the presence or absence of those efforts. This discussion will help your organization use evidence-based program techniques and policy interventions to develop an effective response that is unique to your community.
